INITIAL VIDEO CALL CONSULTATION: The first meeting where we discuss your project so we can get a better understanding of your requirements including your budget.
INITIAL SITE VISIT: We will come out to meet you and see the space in person so that we can work out an accurate design fee. This is charged at £300 and is refunded on booking.
PROJECT SUMMARY & DESIGN FEE: We put together a Project Summary detailing your aspirations, this will be accompanied by the Design Fee which is the investment for our design services.
ENGAGEMENT: The contract is signed and the design fee paid, this secures your place in our diary, we then produce a design schedule to inform you how long the design process will take.
DESIGN PHASE
BRIEFING MEETING: This is the detailed meeting where we discuss all your wishes including colour and material preferences as well as any specific ergonomic requirements, depending on complexity we survey the space at the same time.
DESIGNING:We take between 2-8 weeks (this will be specified in the design schedule) to put the designs together along with the product estimate for all items chosen.
PRESENTATION: The presentation meeting includes some or all of the following documents: inspiration mood board, scale floor plan, scale elevations, product mood board, materials mood board, estimate for all items.
REVISIONS: Generally, our briefing meeting gathers enough information about your wishes but in case we don’t quite get it 100% straight away, the design fee includes a small number of revisions if there’s the odd item you don’t love or the price isn’t quite right.
ESTIMATE ACCEPTANCE: When you are ready to accept the designs and estimate, we send an invoice so we can begin procurement.
PROCUREMENT & PROJECT COORDINATION
IMPLIMENTATION & PROCUREMENT: To prepare for the start of the project, we put together the following documents: electrical and lighting plans, contractor brief detailing requirements from all trades and construction drawings. We then place all orders and put together an after-care document detailing guarantees and care instructions for your new items.
PROJECT COORDINATION: We put together a schedule of works and book all the necessary trades at suitable times, we accept, check for damages and then store products on your behalf, we will carry out regular site visits to check on progress and quality and produce a snagging report to highlight areas that need refining.
COMPLETION: When construction is complete, we move all the products into place ready for you to enjoy your new room/home.
